The Northern Midlands Council is seeking to appoint a Facilities Officer on a part-time basis, working 15 hours per week and based in Campbell Town, Tasmania.
The successful applicant will manage the end to end bookings process for Council owned buildings and facilities located in Campbell Town, including: taking bookings, responding to queries/requests about the various venues, liaising with committee members once bookings are confirmed, administration associated with bookings, opening and closing the venue or issuing keys and ensuring they are returned after the hire period, cleaning and liaising with Council Officers in relation to bookings.
Applicants must have previous administration experience relevant to this position and be computer literate, with the ability to learn new systems quickly. Applicants should also have excellent communication skills, be customer service focused, detail orientated, reliable and committed.
Terms and conditions of employment, including remuneration will be in accordance with the Northern Midlands Council Enterprise Agreement.
