The Northern Midlands offers a range of Self Contained Vehicle friendly towns.

You must obtain a permit to stay overnight. Permits are FREE for up to 48 hours and are available 24/7 via a form on this website (see link below), with your permit number emailed to you immediately. Simply write your permit number on a piece of paper and display it on your dashboard. If you are unable to connect to the internet, call Council on 6397 7303 during business hours and we can assist you with a permit number. If you arrive after hours and require our assistance, please call first thing in the morning.

Self contained vehicles only. This means shower, washing, toilet, cooking, and sleeping must be contained WITHIN YOUR VEHICLE. No grey or black water, or other liquid is to be let out onto the ground, around trees, or into the river.

This is not a booking system you cannot reserve a place. You can get a permit when you arrive or get one in advance and take the chance that there will be space when you arrive, normally there is ample space however in seasons of high demand spaces may be limited.
