The Northern Midlands Council, one of the largest and most diverse municipalities in Tasmania, is seeking to appoint a suitable candidate to fill the role of Horticulture Apprentice in our Parks and Reserves team.
This is a fantastic opportunity which will see the successful applicant gaining on the job training and experience, as well as a nationally recognised qualification upon completion of the apprenticeship.
This position will be offered on a full-time basis, working a nine-day fortnight and remuneration will be dependent on your age and any previous qualifications you have, in accordance with the Local Government Industry Award 2020.
For your application to be considered, you must: have a good work ethic; be reliable; be motivated; be physically fit; be a team player; be a good communicator and have the ability to follow instructions; have a desire to learn; be able to think on your feet and have a current Tasmanian manual drivers licence.
