Are you a qualified Lifeguard looking for casual employment over the Summer season (late Nov 2018 till March 2019)? If so, we may have an opportunity for you as a member of the Northern Midlands Council Pool Lifeguard team.

Your duties will revolve around the supervision of all pool areas to ensure the safety of the patrons using our facilities (located in Cressy, Campbell Town and Ross). You must be able to demonstrate strong customer service skills, with the ability to proactively supervise and instruct patrons on behavior and safety in a swimming pool environment. An understanding of and the ability to adhere to work health and safety practices and procedures is also required.

A current Pool Lifeguard and First Aid qualification are essential requirements, as is a Working with Children Check. Similarly, the ability to obtain these prior to the season commencing will be considered. On a personal level, you will need to have a good work ethic, be self-motivated, be reliable and able to work autonomously.

Terms and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Northern Midlands Enterprise Agreement 2016-2019.
